A local customer in Thornton, Colorado, needed to remove and replace a series of cracked rooftop A/C units. Usually this entails ordering the units and having them delivered to the jobsite, hoping that the delivery schedule does not get impacted by weather or other related delays.
Fortunately this did not happen to this customer as they took advantage of Winslow Cranes’ turnkey HVAC services. We already had the units securely stored at our yard and ready for delivery and installation.
Once delivered, the Winslow Crane team used their 360-ton Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 to remove and replace the multiple 772 lb. units. With 225 ft. of boom at a radius of 188 ft., the Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 made quick work of the project. The crane also has the capability of traveling with 69’ of hydraulically luffing swing-away jib, giving you the capability to achieve tip heights of up to 330’ without the need of an assist crane or additional trailer loads, making this the perfect crane for contractors, steel erectors, or precast concrete providers.
